Description
Our hotel in London was just about at the base of The Shard, London's (and the EU's) tallest building. Construction was just completed in February of this year on the 1,016 ft high building. It's a shock to th system to come out of your hotel in the morning, look right and see this massive building.just a short block away. Of course you get a better look at it if you're a bit farther away.
I've done a little post-processing with HDR and a few other PP tecniques. I hope you enjoy the view.

Let me amend my comment--it was open to the public on 1st february. I would think it's finished and has a strange style.

I was outside it today ..got dizzy looking up!Stuff paying £25 to go up and look out ..I've got a flying lesson for 4x that fee for a whole hour !!!
