Description
Volume II - Episode 7
Where: Melbourne, Australia
When: 1 month after E-Day, 8:14 am
In the middle of a shopping centre car park in Melbourne's eastern suburbs, two young lovers were pressed together in a passionate embrace. The heat between them was intense.
"I missed you so much," Kim sobbed into Jessica's shoulder. "I love you, Jessica Bell."
"I love you more, Kimberly Walker."
They fell silent, reveling in each other's warmth and closeness. They had been apart for fourteen days. Fourteen long, terrible days.
"I can't stop thinking about that day," Kim said. "I thought you...I can't believe our last words were a fight. I'm so sorry, Jess. I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have gotten so angry. I shouldn't have..."
"No, babe. Seriously," Jessica replied. "The important thing is: we're back together again. What happened in the past...it's nothing. I kept some things from you...I lied to you. You're the most important person in the world to me, and I kept secrets from you. I'm the one who was wrong, not you. I have to tell you some stuff...some stuff about my past..."
"No. You don't have to tell me anything you don't want to. I'm so sorry that I..."
"Shut up, babe," Jess said, silencing Kim with a long and passionate kiss.
Eventually their lips parted, and Kim nestled her face into Jessica's shoulder. Her eye throbbed painfully, but she let Jessica's familiar warmth and smell fill her senses. "I'm never letting you go again."
"Good!" Jessica laughed. "I'm never letting you go, either. From now on, you and I stay together forever."
They stood silently for a few moments, in the middle of the shopping centre car park, oblivious to the world around them - the truck loaded with prisoners, the two men waiting patiently nearby, the window in the wall of the shopping centre behind them were Nikki stood, her face pressed anxiously against the glass - focused wholly and solely on each other's embrace.
"Jess," Kim said at last. "How did you...I mean...I saw the car catch fire..."
"It was Ken. He saved my life. After Nikki threw him out of here, he came back to the car and saved me."
"Oh. But...the fire..."
"Okay, this is gonna sound pretty wild, but...look, fire can't hurt me, babe."
Kim looked at her quizzically. "What do you mean?"
"Well, it turns out I'm...you know...a witch."
Kim's jaw dropped open.
"I know," Jessica said. "Shocking, right? But you haven't even heard the best part yet."
"What?" Kim asked, exasperated. "What's the best part?"
Jessica smiled and kissed Kim gently on the forehead. "My best friend is one, too."

I only took a quick look at the picture ... and then scrolled down quickly. I have to collect a few chapters to be able to read them at one time. Otherwise I'll get crazy of curiosity!!!
