Description

at least that is a decent capture. full screen to see the lightning better it was an early am storm that had almost passed over. I was inside my suv because it was raining at the time I am chicken to push the envelope standing out in harm's way. my brother was almost killed as a teenager standing inside our house looking a a storm next to a metal screen door when lightning struck a power post traveling down the power wires to the house's meter next to the door

Very nice capture, Richard! It's not easy to get lightning on film unless it's just going crazy up there.

You are right to be cautious, our high school football coach was killed during a practice when a freak storm erupted.
