Description

"GRAINS" Harvest time ~ Winter Red Wheat ~ the grain head from which flour and the many other products listed by Blinkings in my previous post are made. In the "bread bowl" of the U.S.A., the crop of Winter Red Wheat harvest has already started in some fields. This one should be ready by Tuesday. I sincerely hope that there are not high winds, rain, or hail before the crop gets harvested. Any of those could ruin it for the farmer.
