My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

WOW - this absolutely takes my breath away ... pardon the pun, it's out of this world - 'I lurf this to bitz' ;)) when I first laid eyes on this incredible reflected image, I felt: 'OUR BEAUTIFUL PLANET ~ SO FRAGILE' ... let's hope everyone keeps treating it with respect! BB *** Please Tara, under no circumstances apologise for being late, never, never, never! I just love getting presents (I love to call dedi's - presents, sounds so much better) - every day of the week, even for the whole month, I don't care how long it goes on for or lasts :-P in fact better late, because then I can revel in my birthday for longer ... THANK YOU.

Amazing how you lined up the reflection, it makes it look like the globe is transparent. Happy belated birthday to your friend.

Kool Birthday image for Mum and you realise now that you have extended her Birthday celebration for another whole week...and I'm running out of cake...LOL ! The globe transparency is that this is a reflection I'm guessing ? but when first viewed it's tricky to work out how you got this funky result ! Well done & ~Cheers~

This is wonderful! The globe does look transparent. It took me a bit to figure it out. I love globes, and reflections so this is marvelous all around. I'd love to study the globe in detail too. We have an old atlas that is a lot of fun to look through. Beautiful capture and dedication!
