I love, love, love this! So enchanting! And she is like Brian Froud's faeries, who always have unusual bodies...the big elf ears, hooved feet, tails, etc. I love that. And her lovely frog represents more than the "kiss it, it will turn into a Prince" story. I found this info: "In Scotland the frog is seen as an item of luck. Households often keep stone frogs in their gardens and they are often given as house warming presents. The associations are believed to date back to Pictish times." And, "Native Americans, like europeans, believed in many types of water guardians or spirits as in the protectors of springs, lakes, and rivers. Frog Woman was "queen of the waters" in Chumash myths..." So your Frog Princess is pretty powerful with her frog guardians! I love this picture, so beautiful and serene! OXOOXOXO Jane

Reminds me of the old joke where this old guy is walking in the woods and comes across a frog who says to him: kiss me and I'll turn back into a beautiful young woman and will fulfill any sexual fantasy you have. The man puts the frog in his pocket and continues his walk. The frog yells up at him and says: didn't you hear what I said? The mans Answers: oh yes I heard you, but at my age i'd rather have a talking frog. Nice fun image by the way. Well done. She looks delightfully mischievous.
