Description

I'm sure some folk will recognize this! Just got home from the Hamilton Airshow, hosted by the Canadian Warbird Heritage. In addition to their own collection and the usual visitors from Vintage Wings Canada, there were several unique and rare visitors from elsewhere. More to come, as I wade through the mass of photos. Must admit, I got a bit click-happy...

Looks like the back of a Mossie canopy. Those instructions bring home the fact the pilots are sitting next to one big fuel tank.

Indeed, a Mosquito it is ! Was it simply on static display or flying ? I know there' s only one airworthy again since last year. Peter

Love the perspective, but it doesn't ring a bell. I don't think it is an American (meaning US bird). Just have to wait til you tell us. BTW, I was at that show in 1968 and saw a Vulcan take off. It was the only Vulcan I ever saw flying. Was the Lancaster there?

I hope they are collecting their supermarket vouchers for the fuel... A "composite" aircraft? before they were trendy? Great to see a Mosquito....
