Hi everybody,
My name is Dana Pommet and my wife’s name is Josephine. I was born in Gloucester, Massachusetts, in 1942, and except for a tour in the Navy, lived there for most of my life. I retired to Delray Beach, Florida in December 2000. We love to travel and photography goes hand and hand with that. I went digital about 5 years ago and started posting November 22, 2008. I have met so many wonderful people on RR and that makes this whole process so much more interesting than just posting photos. Thanks for all the comments and keep them coming.
Update  January 2012: After hiding and denying my mild Dyslexia, for most of my professional life, and now fighting with its advancement – I want to thank you all for putting up with my poor typing skills and spelling problems. I know that my spell checker hates me and I now depend completely on audio books rather then actually reading printed books.  Life marches on!  ÂÂ

What a wonderful place to live! To hear the sound of the water. I wonder what its history is. Beautiful capture! I like the greys and browns of the building and walls nestled in all that green.

Great shot! The plumbing looks very handy...unless the water level gets too high! My computer still needs stuff done but I never feel like tackling those things.

Great looking house I wonder If the owner can get any sleep when the river is in flood. I have just had to do the same computer thing XP to Windows 7, I reloaded all the programs then hooked up the old one as an external drive and draged and droped all files over, you can do It even with laptops, just get an external drive caddy, I then cleaned up the drive and use it for backups, my printers don't work even with new drivers I wish I could revert to XP.

Lovely house, covered with shingles ... reminds me somehow of the 1995 movie with Clint Eastwood and Merryl Streep: 'Bridges of Madison County' - simply beautiful, Dana BB

Great shot and cool building - that foundation would worry me but the building looks old so it must be more solid than it looks :)
