... draw a crowd everywhere they go.
De Havilland Mosquito FB.26, KA114 owned & operated by the Military Aviation Museum in Virginia. Her visit to the CWH airshow last weekend seems fitting... she was built in Canada back in 1945. The de Havilland and GM plants used are not far from Hamilton.
Yes, she flew! More picks coming soon... including one of two planes and six Merlins...

Excuse me while I wipe the drool from my keyboard.........That truly is one of the most beautiful sights, after a Spitfire, but to see it fly must have been phenomenal!!. Great angle to get the lines of this majestic lady. 'motic'...'shame what it stands for'??....Peace, Liberty and the destruction of Nazi'ism.....works for me!! :-) I know you probably refer to 'war, death and destruction....but the only shame in that, lies with mankind not the tools he crafts to prosecute it. Tamarrion...sorry for the 'soapbox', but.......

Great to see it. As any Minstrel of old will tell you, when a "Lady" goes hunting, she takes Merlins along...

Fab shot.. that is one cool Bird for sure.. and surprisingly big outside.. small inside... I've had the pleasure of sitting in both seats in KA114 while it was under resto here in NZ!
