Description

A quince tree (Cydonia oblonga) lining, together other quince and apple trees, the dirt road leading to the fields in front of the farmer's house. At the time of the photo the fields had been plowed and the surface made of very slippery, 'fat' turfs, was impossible to walk on without a good pair of boots. Thanks for your kind comments.

Beautiful tree and capture! Wonderful composition. I like the strong triangular shape of the field, and the lacy effects of the branches. I can remember walking across fields like this (in strong walking boots) when I was a member of the Rambler's Association in England. I would be several inches taller when I got to the other side.
