Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Lovely. This looks like a white water rapid that I could handle! I've never done it before!

What a beautiful place to stop! Glad you had a good trip down and survived the party. :) Call me when you can extract yourself ... LOL!

You drove all that way from up north to Huntington Beach in just twelve hours? What a hardy and dedicated soul. And then topped it off with a wild birthday bash? You are a lady of steel having survived those energy sapping episodes. That said, fabulous POV, clarity and texture in this canyon capture, Maz.
