Description

Hello again! This here is one of the most spectacular places Germany can offer. This landscape spreads till the frontier to Czechia and beyond, and many trekking routes cross the borderline. Most famous points are the so called "Bastei" (that means bastion in english) in Germany with its pilars and towers and the Trebitsch Tor (The Trebitsch Door) on the Czech side, Europes biggest natural bridge - I hope I will see this door next year. Between the pilars are deep canyons, caves, hidden places, where the farmers some centuries ago saved their cattle in war times - undetectable for strangers.... This here is maybe the most famous viewpoint in Germany. Hope you enjoy! Friends, thanks for your comments and a special THANKS for the favorite for my last pic, fells good again and again....
