Description

This is a photo of the business end of a Hibiscus flower and I can only assume that it is both the Pistil and Stamen of this particular flower. The red on the left would be the Stigmas of the Pistil and the yellow, to the right, would be the Anthers of the Stamens. Please correct me if I have it mixed up. Do zoom. I love these particular flowers for this structure--those satellite dishes on the end seem to be broadcasting a message to the bees, "Come and eat here!" Great capture, Dana!
