Description
You may recognize Brennan from the image of the lower right side, previously posted in my gallery...somewhere :-p Brennan was made to be 'goth' and/or anything that comes close in 'the look'. Yes, he's a pretty boy - not handsome but pretty.
I started working on him again and in the meantime, a friend introduced me to something called 'Visual Kei'. It is a 'look' that is very popular in Japan with some bands and incorporates a great many looks from past genres...but it's mostly about spikey funky colored hair, makeup and strange clothes :) I like it. Lol. It's not a genre of music but a 'look'. Imagine Bauhaus meets Noh theatre, meets Adam Ant, meets Darkstar, meets goth, emo and punk.
I've been just playing with him a lot trying to see how many different looks I can get with him. I've posted some of these full size on DA, but made a collage for here:
Top left: as 'Tariq' the captain of a ship in the mid-1400s.
Top middle: as Brennan Alimonte, a bored and slightly cynical male model
Top right: A singer in a Visual Kei band
Bot left: a model of Visual Kei clothing
Bot left mid: Loki, the Trickster
Bot right mid: Mr. Brennan, a dance and modeling instructor at his wits end with his class
Bot right: his original post here as a dark man at a crossroads.
Guess, I'll hang out until things 'go south' again. Hopefully, they won't.
