Jayfar uploaded the same flower. Super sharp capture. God bless.

As I recall, his flower seemed different, perhaps at a slightly different stage of development. But it is nice, seeing two potato flowers in as many days, particularly when they are no longer common for me to see. Excellent shot Alida!

what an unusual and beautiful flower. your capture is superb

Like Richardphotos says, this capture is superb. Again, the flower and plant are so full, and they come into the image on an angle. Yet they sit right at the center of the image, anchoring the image beautifully. And you got the flower, itself, at an angle, like it's looking 'down' on something...a very nice choice. When you use frontal compositions like this---ie, with the flower and plant right at the front of the shot---you break the frontal sense by including so many angles, with so much complexity. You really have an eye for the "architecture" of these plants! It's a wonderfully complex image, and beautiful too. Like Sandra says, "bellissima"!
