I love your photo Alida and look forward to more! Once again, RR decides to muck up the site layout. We finally get a normal sized box to enter comments, but at what cost?

Love the sight of the sea. Is the water temperature high enough to swim? Superb capture. Please everyone voice your opinion on the new look of Renderosity here: http://www.renderosity.com/mod/forumpro/showthread.php?thread_id=2871567 God bless.

A wonderful and refreshing view. Excellent shot!

A beautiful beach for sure. One little tip would be to keep your camera level so that the horizon stays straight. You could also add interest to this type of photo by not having the horizon so central. I've never been one to rigidly adhere to the old 'rules of photography', but in this case the photo is literally 'screaming out' for the rule of thirds!!!!!!! I hope to see more of this stunning coast. Well done. Andrew

Like all your sea shots, this is large and sweeping and feels vast. There is plenty of deep green in the water, and light greens too. And beautiful waves. I like that you gave a little bit of the beach---it "grounds" the shot, but it's just a small piece of the beach so the water dominates. And the sky is peaceful and very 'open'. Blinkings mentioned keeping the camera straight so the horizon is straight: Well, that would look very nice, yes; but the tilted horizon makes your image feel personal and spontaneous---so it looks good either way, I think. In any case, you have a natural sense of the "monumental" in your landscapes, and this feels monumental. I'm glad you gave us a large version (zoomed): It allows your sweeping concept to "speak" to us. A peaceful and grand image.
