Description

The Marine Building, reflected in the mirror-like glass of a more modern Vancouver office tower. The Marine Building is a magnificent Art Deco structure that was completed in 1930. Though it was only 22 stories tall, it was, for a time, the tallest building in the British Empire. My next post will be of the interior of the Marine Building & will feature some of the Art Deco details, as well as a few more interesting facts about it...

Okay, that does it. I've GOT to get up there! My brother took pictures of the Marine building for me last time he was there, so I'm REALLY looking forward to seeing your shots. That is one fabulous building! And I love this shot. The reflections and architecture are just my sort of thing!
