My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

Makes me remember visiting my grandparents in Odessa, WA. walking down to the drugstore with a real Soda Fountain and slurping, oh-so-slowly a chocolate malt shake........MMMMM

The same goes for me: it's the details, the little things...but never an awareness that once we hit the longest day of the year, it's all down hill from there: what matters are the firefly nights, the cool drinks and that threat of spontaneous Human combustion. Such a July thing! oh, and then there are the fireworks. Even if there were none in my vicinity, I always remember that sulfur smell. It is as welcome and evocative as the scent of pine in winter. This is wonderfully done! So much fun to read!

Wonderful piece. It brings back pleasant memories. School's out, long sunny days with your best friend and our best girls, barbeque, and fireworks. Thanks for the memories.

If I hang all my memories of a clothesline, then this would not only be endless. You would also be extremely colorful. Some of these memories I would like to iron, and continue, or reactivate and re-experience. Others would I depend, fold and lock away, because their time is over. But they have one thing in common: they are part of my life. Your memories have awakened my memories. Your thoughts are wonderful....thanks
