Description
One of the wild turkeys that regularly visit us showed up the other day with what looked like some pretty young poults in tow. There was a fourth one, but it was lagging a little & didn't make it into the family portrait. I've always called them chicks, but decided to look it up & found that poult seems to be the preferred term. Pretty cute whatever you call them.
