My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

I have seen parts of the trail and I find it awe inspiring. No doubt these rocks were seen by those pioneers.

Exciting to think of that. There is such a variety of lichen, and I like the look of the rust coloured one.

I expect they did - and probably wished they had a camera, even though they were quite rudimentary and bulky at the time! A lovely and colorful capture, Tara!

So stunning! It reminds me of the Namib desert with my 2009 visit after they had good rain. Lichen and wild flowers were everywhere in the arid landscape!

Reminds me of rocks in the Cederberg mountains - one of my favourite places on the planet. Damn, it's too long since I visited there... Wonderful shot, Tara.
