My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

I feel cheated when the sea is more than a mile away! This photo could so easily be at Studland Bay.

A fabulous shot. These dunes are pretty high. Are you sure the ocean isn't just over the rise? This looks like a cat's dream come true.

Wonderful pic and beautifully composed.

This is the type of photographic art, I really love ... "a bit of this and a bit of the other" - LOL no, in all seriousness this is mindboggling beautiful and outstanding, an instant FAV ... a whole series of these dunes would be incredible, and would do really well in a life art-gallery ;P BB

This is just gorgeous; the oh, so sweet and soft sand, with the wood in front; seems like the beach should be right over the top!!
whaleman
A very nice 'glowy' look to this shot!

Beautiful pOv and image composition.

Beautiful capture! The light has both an intensity and a softness. The rough and extremely defined texture of the wood contrasts with the soft texture of the distant dunes. The composition is excellent and the lighting flawless.
