Description

Here was a comical pose this cooperative Heron assumed for me. As can be seen, he can pull his head in so far it appears as if he has no neck. Other images in this series demonstrate just how far he can stretch his neck out. An all around amazing and entertaining bird to watch. My thanks to those who have taken the time to comment on previous postings. The feedback is appreciated.
