Description

This is the last of the Green Heron images from this encounter. The look of this one is different - more like a snapshot than the others, This photo captured him just a second after he flew to this stump and landed on the almost vertical side. I was amazed that he could keep his balance there. Not only did he land on the side, but he also could move around on it also. He spent several minutes moving back and forth across the side and only left after attempting to grab a dragonfly that flew pretty close. He missed the bug , lost his footing, and flew to the top, which is where all the other images were taken. Notice the position of his feet compared to the position of his body. He really was wall walking, lol. My thanks to those who take the time to comment. The feedback is appreciated. Lee
