Description

Blender, Poser, Photoshop, Fireworks --- Hello! Thanks so much for viewing my work! And an extra thanks to those who take the time to comment and favorite. This is another of my inspired by images. The source of inspiration was AlfaSeed's "Black and White Cinderella" found at deviantART. You should definitely check it out. All the materials are mine, and most of the props are as well. The cape and footwear came out especially like I wanted them to. The wristlets are from a clothing set I started but haven't finished. I've since improved my skin shader, but I think the old one did pretty well. It was my first time working with Nightsong's mask, and I have to say it worked absolutely beautifully. Wow, I love how you used the reflection on the wall as part of the composition--and that gorgeous flowing dynamic cape! It's such a mysterious and beautiful image, I want to go see the inspiration now, too!

I'm almost sorry the girl is wearing a mask, as it appears to hide an extraordinarily pretty face, but then, this is about impact and style and art, not just pretty faces. The light on the gold is particularly impressive, as is the polish on the floor and how it reflects on the skin and the shoes. Again, KobaltKween has created a fine theme, in a render that looks even better seen full-sized so one can appreciate the detail-work.
