Description

As the Commander walks into the main control room, one of his sergeants shouts out “Commander on deck.” Blackfeather thinks to himself “I’ll never understand why, when we are two miles below the Earth’s surface, they act as if it’s the deck of a ship.” He then reiterates his message to the control room crew that the outpost is in lockdown. He further asks the communications officer to relay a message to all department heads that there will be an information gathering meeting in the conference room at 06:00. Leaving the control room his sergeant overhears him mumble, “My crew will be fine they will follow orders without question. Those frakin’ civilian scientists are going to be a pain in my derriere. I wonder how some of the other outpost commanders are making out?” As most of you know, I have the attention span of a gnat. So, I'll probably skip around to keep myself entertained.
