Happy Birthday Jeff and we hope you enjoyed your special day! We have just returned from a visit with my brother Rick, in Falmouth, on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Rick and Mary live next to conservation land that includes a large marsh area. There is a huge Osprey nest right next to the road and my brother said that it is about twice the size as it was when he moved there 13 years ago. The Osprey go south for the winter and enlarge the nest when they return in the spring. If you zoom you can see some of the materials that they have used over the years to repair and enlarge the nest. The green object to the left is a big section of nylon fishing net. There are two adults and three young in this nest. I have a close-up photo of part of the family if anyone is interested.
