Description

....an der Küste vor Santa Monica mit einem herrlichen Blick auf den Pazifik. Und wir laufen die alten Schienen lang und ich wünsche mir den Money Train. Hab AC/DC im Ohr und komme so langsam ins Schwitzen - ins Ölen wie wir in Berlin sagen. Wir haben uns inzwischen weit vom Auto entfernt.....seltsamer Weise haben wir es nicht bemerkt weil wir draussen eine Bohrinsel gesichtet haben. Leider habe ich vergessen, mein Teleobjektiv mitzunehmen. Liegt im Auto ...dort liegt es gut *augen verdreh* Ja, man kann nicht alles haben. ======================================================================= ....off the coast of Santa Monica, with a magnificent view of the Pacific Ocean. And we walk the old rails long and I wish me the Money Train. Have AC / DC in the ear and coming so slowly sweat - in the oils as we say in Berlin. We have us now far removed from the car ..... strange way we have not noticed it because we have out spotted an oil rig. Unfortunately I forgot to with took my telephoto lens. Is in the car ... there is it good * eyes turn * Yes, you can not have everything.

A very compelling image! Hope you were not listening with ear buds while walking along the tracks. Many are killed every year because of that. If you are in front of a train, the rail sounds are very much less than if you are off to one side or another.

You can take the Coast Starlight train from downtown Los Angeles to Seattle. North of Santa Monica, at the city of Oxnard, the train runs along the coast until it reaches San Luis Obispo. Then it travels inland. You really must visit us again. Sie können die Coast Starlight Zug von der Innenstadt von Los Angeles nach Seattle nehmen.
