Ich bin in der Vorbereitung für das weltgrößte Heavy Metal Open Air - W : O : A (Wacken : Open : Air)
Ort: Wacken
Ein Dorf mit seinen 1850 Einwohnern (Schleswig-Holstein, Germany) wird seit mittlerweile 24 Jahren(!) am ersten Wochenende im August zur Pilgerstätte für 75.000 Metal Headz aus aller Welt. Die Einwohner sind so tolle Gastgeber. Sie stellen ihre Felder für diesen Event zur Verfügung und sorgen sich um das leibliche Wohl ihrer crazy Gäste. Jeder freie Wohnraum wird vermietet, Garagen werden zu Breakfastrooms und Theken umgewandelt. Straßenverkäufe, Gepäcktransport.....Einen dicken Kuss, liebe Leute von Wacken.
In diesem Jahr sind wieder viele Bands vetreten. 136 Bands in 4 Tagen für 150€!!!
Meine Favoriten dieses Jahr sind Rammstein, Danzig, Mr. Killmister....Lemmy von Motörhead, Anthrax, Deep Purple, Grave Digger, Legion of the Damned,.....
So, nun muß ich weiterpacken für den "Heavy" Campingtrip! Am Dienstag fahren wir los. Die Kamera ist immer mit dabei...Bilder nach dem Event habe ich seit Jahren hier gezeigt und habe es dieses Jahr auch wieder vor.

Location: Wacken
A village with 1850 inhabitants (Schleswig-Holstein, Germany) is for 24 years now (!) On the first weekend in August of pilgrimage for 75,000 Metal Headz from around the world. The people are great hosts. They provide their fields for this event are available and worry about the physical welfare of their crazy guests. Every free living space is rented. Garages are converted to Breakfast Rooms and pubs. Street sales, luggage transport ..... A big kiss, dear people of Wacken.
This year, many bands are again Represented. 136 bands in 4 days for 150 € (approx 200 US Dollar)!
My favorites this year are Rammstein, Danzig, Mr. Mister Kill .... Lemmy of Motorhead, Anthrax, Deep Purple, Grave Digger, Legion of the Damned, Alice Cooper .....
So, now I have pack for the "heavy" camping trip! On Tuesday we driving. Camera is always with you ... pictures after the event I have shown here for years and have it again this year before.

Ich frage mich, wer überhaupt auf diese Idee kam, das Event in dieses Nest zu holen. Da dann drücke ich dir die Daumen, dass dein Fuß diese Strapaze mitmacht. Alles wird gut! Bleibt dieser Totempfahl immer dort stehen, oder wird er speziell für dieses Ereignis wie ein Maibaum aufgestellt? Geiles Foto!

Wow, fantastic texture in cloudscape. The wooden statue cutting across the sky is such a marked contrast. The image would has a very abstract appeal if it is cropped just below the white tentline. Then it looks like some ancient idol statue in an alien space.
