My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

I knew this guy once from SD. He said there are so few people in most parts of the state that often the counties are named after whatever family been living there.

The B/W make the place look desolate. Nice shot Tara.

An amazing capture, Tara! What a vast expanse of sky - it looks almost ethereal. So, you'll soon be posting the photos you took after a short hike, and climb to the peak of that lil' ol' hill, right? :-D

Seems I'm not the only one who needs to wear there glasses. 'E' indeed! And now we have here a picture from a 19th century master. Black and white makes for a timeless image.

super cool

LOL @ Andrea! That sky does seem to stretch out an awfully long way out there. Wonder if the cows have deep metaphysical thoughts as they chew their cuds? Great existential capture, Tara!

That's what I like about the Midwest and the Southwest - the wide open spaces. It looks really nice in b&w Tara!
