My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Looks like a spot at Dead Horse Park within Canyonlands...either way you can't go wrong with the La Sal mountains in the background!

That looks like some view.

Nice capture and a super background.

Very dramatic background. Super pic. But who is the Native American gentleman on the top of that rock formation and why is he sitting on that animal underneath him?

I see what Mark sees. However I feel queasy just imagining standing that close to the edge!

Great capture Tara. The figure gives scale and you show the vastness of the area very well.

That is some really rugged terrain.

Stunning landscape and rock formations. As Douglas Adams once said: "this is scenery that makes you want to stand and applaud..."

Great shot--the man gives such a sense of perspective!

Incredibly impressive. The guy should not go so far to the edge .... but I understand it. From there you get the best pictures. While not as good as yours. But he exerts probably.
