Description

A long long time ago. Before even the tribes of man had spread across the Earth. It was a time of magic and wonder. The Spirits roamed freely through the forest and meadow, the desert and sea, and even the highest places above the clouds and the lowest places under the mountains. The night sky was filled with many more stars then you see today and the night was as if it were day. One such small and mischievous Spirit wore the face of man and danced in the tall grass under the stars each night when the moon crossed the sky. The small Spirit’s Father, who happened to be the Fox Spirit, asked his son why he danced under the stars each night. “Oh Father,” said the small mischievous Spirit. “They sparkle so, and I love them and wish only that I could dance with them both day and night.” The Fox Spirit could not bear his son to be unhappy and made it so that the stars rained down upon the Earth until all the land and all the waters were covered in a sparkling blanket of stars. And each day you look out on the rivers and seas, the sand and even in the leaves of the highest trees, and you see the sparkle of those stars, know that somewhere out there among all those sparkling stars, dances a small mischievous Spirit.
