Captured back on 5/12/10, at beautiful Legg Lake in the beautiful Whittier Narrows Recreation Area in not-so-beautiful South El Monte, California.

I agree with the general consensus that this is a very peaceful scene, though the dog looks more watchful than peaceful at the moment. Wonderful subject matter and lighting. I like the gentle ripples in the water and soft folds of his clothes. I'll bet he wears those clothes fishing a lot. They looks supremely comfortable. Lovely dappled light on the ground and on his shirt. Excellent shot!
