Description


Johnston Creek originates in a glacial valley, at an elevation of 8,200 feet (2,500 meters) and flows down through a gorge known as Johnston Canyon. The Johnston Canyon gorge is located in the Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada and ends when in empties into the into the Bow River, at an elevation of 4,720 feet (1,440 meters). The gorge turns to the right in this photo. Info from Wikipedia. Photo taken with my old Pentax film camera in August 1988 and scanned.
