Description

This is the inside of the Aghios Dimitrios Loumbardiaris Chapel. It was difficult to get the facts about this little chapel. The original information was given to us by our tour guide and I didn't take any notes. We were given so much information on a daily basis that it was information overload, and with temples on and near the Acropolis nearly 1,500 years older, a little chapel built in the 9th century AD was nothing special. I perused the Google Earth map to look for information and traced back our route of that day until I finally found a match. I hate taking pictures whose history I can't match later.
