Description

I was looking for a photo to put an 'end' to my Canadian Rockies series. This is a Mountain Goat walking along a road above the Athabasca River. They always seem to walk right on the edge. I was sitting there, taking photos of the mountains, on the other side of the valley and she walked right in front of me. No fear at all. Photo taken August 1988 with my old Pentax and recently scanned. Zoom works. Wikipedia says: The Athabasca River originates from the Columbia Glacier of the Columbia Icefield in Jasper National Park in Alberta, Canada. Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous favs and comments. They are very much appreciated. Dana
