Description

here the painting I did with the photo refer i [posted yesterday. It do not snow much here so this is the first time I painted snow and snow clouds. a artist friend told me the clouds looks too low. i told him every time i see snow clouds they alway low, tell me if i did the snow right and the clouds right also? the last time it snow here was in 2008 and this is it here . painted on 24x48 inch linen

top painting! I cannot remember the clouds when it is snowing and in your photo the sky is filled with clouds, but in your painting the sky is alive! you did a real good job, Jock! ;o)

OH MY GOODNESS!! This is a masterpiece. I just love it. I think this is one of your best. Even better than the photo and you got a lovely DOF. And you captured the special mood beautifully. You can be proud of this, Jock. BTV, I see nothing wrong with the sky. Love it all.
