Description
I took this picture while out for a walk. The little waterlilies are thick in the canals right now. When I got home and saw this picture in full size it reminded me much of Monet's paintings of waterlilies in his garden.
Thanks to all who have rated and commented on my other photos. It is delightful to read your comments and especially enjoyable to see the photos you share as well. Thank you all for sharing the beauty you see.

It certainly does have a likeness, it reminds me also of my days in childhood fishing with my late father on the rivers and lakes, such places were ideal to coax a fish out but dangerous for getting snapped up as they head for these.

The first thing that popped into my head when I saw this was Monet's waterlilies. Aside from the common subject, this looks like a carefully planned artistic composition. Great work...

This is just so beautiful; water lilies lend such a wonderful look to a pond or lake. And, oh yes, the Monet look is so eveident!!
