Description
I just returned from a lovely vacation in Switzerland. One thing we did was take a steamboat ride around Lake Lucern. The water was very blue because of the glacial rivers that flow into it.
Anytime another steamboat passed by people on board would wave at each other.
I think this shot shows the color of the water very well. I have done no post work other than re-sizing the image to fit Renderosity specs.

It's a beautiful place isn't it.

It certainly is. A camera just cannot capture the majesty of the mountains and the depth of the blue water and the smell of the fresh air. Some things you just need to experience yourself to get the full impact. :)

I was married (last time) on a "steamboat" (Natchez) in New Orleans ... this looks fun also. (: three :)
Had it not been for that decision, I might now be wandering around Europe, Switzerland, Spain and other places. Being fortunate to have travelled extensively with the USAF and IBM, it's a joy to remember places, beauty and fine people I met along the way.
I appreciate your posting these lovely shots... so tempting lol
