Description
Well, not exactly, but that's what the pose brought to mind.
My new carpet is down! But it has been a lot of quite hard work emptying the room, and yesterday after the trip to the recycling centre to offload yet more woodwormy furniture etc I went on a new walk.
It starts at the Council tip and wends it's way through meadow to a part of the River Stour I haven't walked before. This picture is of the view dowstream at the point where one has to start back. They all had a little swim in preparation for the return.part of the circle. I saw a pretty little adder but it was too fast for me.

A beautiful landscape. They do look as though they have just arrived at a new land. Of course, if this was your first visit I suppose it is a new land to them. The only thing missing is the wagon train behind them.

Oh yeah ... I certainly see the "pioneers" here! :) I bet Buster was delighted to find a new place to cool his tummy. It's a beautiful spot, and I love the weir in the other shot.

What a wonderful scene nicely captured, the dogs are enjoying themselves, all the scene needed was the late great Jack Hargreaves fishing the river, I know he fished the river many times and lived in Belchalwell until his passing in 1994.

A pretty little adder? I would stay quite a ways from them because, although small, they are a highly venomous European viper, either that, or it's someone who sums up figures. In any event, fine foto of the Stour River and environs, Andrea.
