Description
Recently, my department at work had a tour around the Veolia Integrated Waste Management Facility in Southwark, London.
This is near the beginning of the waste sorting process - this machine sorts out the larger items of waste.
There are several more of these machines that gradually sort out various sizes of waste. Other machines use electro-magnetism and compressed air to sort out the metals and plastics, etc.
A most interesting tour. :-)
