Conner’s self motivated feet have arrived at the science lab. It is here he encounters two of the Rapier guards. “Hi, mind if I go inside and wait for Dr. Ell?” “You may not enter the lab without either a Lab badge or are accompanied by lab personnel.” “Do you know who I am?” “Yes, we are aware of who you are and it makes no difference. Orders are Orders.” “Then may I wait here until Dr. Ell arrives?” “You may Conner Blackfeather. Please take a seat on the bench behind you.” Conner can barely keep his temper under check. He thinks to himself “Stupid guards, they may as well be robots. My father wants me to be like these creeps. He has to be kidding. You can’t even tell one from another. For all I know they are a bunch of clones.” With a sulky pout on his face, Conner sits.
