Description
This is a collection of lichen taken in the Franconia Notch State Park, New Hampshire, US, during our hiking adventures in early July. You have to check out the details in zoom!

I love this lettuce-like stuff, and how it mixes so beautifully with the other textures on the branch; here you usually find it ornamented with the fluffy and spiky white-green kind, and if you're really lucky you can find the little cups and golf tees, but not always. Wonderful capture!!
