Description
The soviet Polyus military satellite that was Energia's first payload.
It may look like a rocket, but the propulsion is only from the two side boosters at the rear.
The length is because it contained a megawatt power C02 laser, for knocking out US satellites.
It was VERY heavy at about 80 tonnes, because the laser was not originally designed for space, but in a large plane.
