Description

Great Sand Dunes National Park Outside Alamosa, Colorado The wind changes everything, a little bit at a time, a little bit every day. Surprisingly, though, the large sand dunes are fairly stable.

I've been on a diet for some time now so this looks like chocolate frosting on a cake. Still, a terrific image. I really like the play of light and shadow and the textures.

Dunes constantly change their look. I like how they transform into surreal forms. Here it looks as if lying female body shape (hips, belly button) A wonderful image with light and shade, fantastic close up in a finen perspective.

Beautifully sinuous forms & wonderful textures. I could easily mistake it for a photo taken on another planet...

I love the low light Tara. Brings out the detail of each little dune! This reminds me of something!

Tell the truth, were you down on your belly in the sand? It's a great POV, and I love the feeling of there-ness. Sand dunes are magical anyway, and this shot shows why!
