Description

Fifth in a series. This is a look at the Moenkopi formation from the side. That's the one with all the layers of mud and sediment. I'm sure you can tell I really liked the Moenkopi! :D

That looks like a cool place to visit. But I'm thinking it might be a little warm there. Got any place for some snow boarding.

It does look remarkably unstable! Gorgeous light and the colours are deliciously rich.

Amazing landscape. Ironic that the vegetation that grows on it sows the seeds of its own destruction. The roots open up cracks in the stone, the rain comes and the water erodes and...That's the Way the Moenkopi Crumbles.

I could look at the lines and layers for hours; they're so graceful as they give in to entropy!
