Description

Well, I've almost completed my rounds to your galleries, and unfortunately I'll have to take another break soon (for health). But I realized something: Because I'm gone so much, I don't post much work, and I really want you to see more before I leave. So I'd like to post three, each of the next two mornings. You can comment or not (it's fine), I just hope you'll like them. These 3 are mono/sepias. And as I'm working large, please bear my "this is large" stuff: It isn't to say these are much better large, but just that you'll see a lot more detail. This image, for example, has much more detail zoomed... I'll comment more tomorrow. Your support has been truly wonderful! A peaceful Thursday to all, Mark

Mark, first of all allow me to say how excited I was to see that you posted three images today. I'm glad that you decided to share more of your work with us, and look forward to three more images from you tomorrow. This photograph especially caught my eye as the detail you captured here is amazing. I zoomed it in to study it several times now and always spot something new.

Wow!!! So much to see, and what a supremely satisfying scene...love that "fluffy" foliage against the straighter dark tree branches, and the echoing upsweep of the lamp post. Gorgeously done, Mark!

Mark, I get this feeling of snow, but I know it is not. It is because of the very light leaves on the tree. Light because of autumn colors, I think. I love this crispy tree trunk and branches with the beautiful texture and the street lamps really suits the tree here. This is such a beautiful shot and posrwork. :)

Par excellence in this mono image, Mark, with various blends, shades and detail virtually oozing from every pixel. Really awesome how the lamp post and tree intermingle, as if in a protective mode, like bosom buddies. Take care of yourself, my friend.

Truly exquisite! Infrared? It looks it, it has that lovely hazy feel that IR film does. Very well done. : )

Yvonne is a master of IR photography, and I love it that she isn't sure about this image. It's definitely got that IR look ... your photography and postwork is superb!
