Description
Just as each day comes to an end, so too does each season. The end of another summer is near, and with it approaches the end of another year. Soon, the beaches will become deserted, the wind will blow a chill across the shore, and leaves will fall only to be replaced by snow. It won't be long until the rippled waters of the lake become a frozen wasteland of white, resembling nothing remotely inhabitable.
The days remaining of our summer are fewer each day. Before much longer, there will be a nip in the air, leaves rustling, and the sounds of geese and birds on their way south for the winter. The skies will become ominous and grey, and the days of this summer will be nothing but a memory.
Enjoy the remaining days. It won't be much longer before the grill is put away, the flowers wilt, leaves fall, and the snowblower, snow brushes, and snow shovels will take their place.

Love the image. Excellent collection of thoughts about end of summer. Although I will be getting out the snow blower and putting away the mower, I keep my grill out year-round. I have been known to grill in a snowstorm. JC

very cool image and narrative! Put the Grill away?!!!!? not a chance! haven't you every had a barbeque with the snow falling around you - magical the best time to walk along the shores is when there's no one there

Well, you sure aren't referring to Southern California, where we have two seasons: eight months of sunny warm weather, followed by four months of a barely cold, rainless winter. Otherwise, an absolutely super colorful image you have presented us with here, emphasized with a large young femme, proud of her massive derriere. Oh, and I'm beginning to post pics of my recent visit to an auto show.
