Description

idunno if it's the yearning for cooler weather brought on by the dog days of summer, or simply my desire to thank my bestest friend lynell (tennesseecowgirl) for letting me use her way cool night shot of the moon as a reference photo for a piece i'm drawing for work, but either way, the idea for this little piece came to me yesterday as i daydreamt about those first nippy nights to come, where the denser atmosphere makes the moon look like it's ripe for plucking, if only one were to reach just a bit higher... as with my other recent artwork, this was drawn free-hand in powerpoint. hope you enjoy it! ps: if you look closely, one of the 'stars' is actually the international space station soaring overhead... first viewer to find it gets a cookie! ;)

Michael I just love this so much, amazing work. And I was so flattered when you asked to use my image, and it also made me feel like a part of a team and that we were sort of working on the project together especially as you shared your progress and asked for my input. Tennessee has some much cooler nights then Texas.. Hint hint see you soon and once again thank you for your inspiration.
