Hello, my name is Jean-Luc. I model and texture props, and do computer graphics and photography. And also hand-carved, hand-painted pottery with my wife Denise. :D
BIO
I am a French citizen, happily married to Denise, an American citizen, and we live in Ohio, USA. I come from Menton. Menton is the last town in France at the Italian border - well known for its good climate. We have both mountains and the sea there. :) Take care Jean-Luc aka Ajrarn :D

Awesome details! Both in your picture and in the cicada that left such a detailed copy of itself...

The detail here is fantastic, much better than I got with my dragonfly carcass. I am intrigued by the eye looking green. Do you know if it was clear or reflecting the leaves? Great shot!

Thank you, all! :) The shell is a lot transparent, or at least translucent, hence the eye being green. I have other angles where the eyes are brown because what is behind the transparent part is the rest of the shell...
