Description
Captured 8/10/13, at an annual car show not far from home.
ZOOM for a closer look of his tattoos.
The picturesque dude already had a hat, but decided to purchase another one. His entire life history is etched on his body. Actually, most of the visitors at the show had tattoos, but not to this extent. As for me, I have none, so I was noticeably out of place.
Cheerio, and for those who observe Labor Day, have a good one.

One can never have too many hats.

LOL @ Andrea; many folks say that about tattoos, too, unfortunately. I don't really understand the appeal of body ink, but I guess that just shows I'm getting old. I don't have any tats either, Harry, so you're not alone. Excellent captures of this oft-punctured fellow on a shopping spree; I'll bet if you asked he'd pose for you so you could get them all in. Wonder what he'd look like au natural? Probably fairly ordinary, I would guess. You see the strangest things out there in the world!

Great photos Harry, and very brave of you to take so many of him from such close range. Hope he was able to settle on a hat

I am more entertained about the title of the collage then the images themselves . Did the guy know you took these pictures? If so, was he ok with it? Nice POSTWORK

No Tattoo on myself either, though I have often debated one. We often mentioned something to memorize our four-legged children, like a little paw w/ their names. Not looking like that's going to happen either. But I work with a few people with multiple tattoos. Just something you have to seriously think about because there are some bad ones out there, and many that years from now people are going to regret getting.

lol, love the title, and you got really fun comments. "You can never have too many hats"...lol...well Andrea's shown us her massive perfume-bottle collection, but so far I haven't seen a lot of hats...but I think the star in this shot isn't the guy's hat, but his tatoos. (Denise wondered what he'd look like au naturel---not too sure I wanna know! I'd need heavy sunglasses for that...) I don't think the question is whether he was nice enough to let you photograph him, but---with a massive body like that---whether you were in danger for your life, lol. Good street shooting, with a plethora of detail---we can see that his right arm has not one, but two mustached men (wearing a sombrero?), and they have the inscription "Smile Now...Cry Later". Wild stuff. But when we look at #2---that guy's sunburnt! His ear and face are mighty red! Been in the sun a lot, apparently...And fun to see the change from hat 1 to hat 2---they're similar but not the same. (Incidentally, in your heat, a hat is probably a healthy choice---I imagine being in heavy sun, in 100+ heat, could give someone a pretty good headache.) Love the captures...and the hats, stacked up like discs, look almost like a big air conditioner grill. Wonderful details in a wild and fun street shot.
